Citizen Network is running its first live event in England on 25th April in Sunderland.
Together we will explore how we can work together for a world where everyone matters – everyone is welcome and attendance is free.
We’ll hear inspiring examples of collaboration and we’ll also begin to develop our own plans and future work. For example:
- Claire Bates will be talking about how she started the award winning Supported Loving project.
- Markus Vähälä will be sharing how people came together in Finland to challenge competitive tendering for services.
- Simon Duffy will be asking – If we really believe in citizenship for all then what does that mean for each one of us?
The event is being organised by Kellie Woodley, Coordinator of Citizen Network England.
If you’d like to get involved please Email Kellie.
A big thank you to Sunderland People First and Leechmere Independent Living Centre for providing us with a venue.
Lunch will be a bring and share extravaganza!
